OCULARA LLC PRIVACY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

Oculara LLC ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of our seminar participants, website visitors, and prospective customers. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights under California law.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect the following personal information when you register for a seminar, contact us, or complete any of our forms: full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address; payment information (processed by Stripe and/or Helcim — we do NOT store credit card numbers); emergency contact name, phone number, and relationship; health and medical information, including allergies, food allergies and dietary restrictions, medical conditions, medications, and physical limitations ("Health Data"); photographs, video, and audio recordings captured during seminars; date of birth (for minor participants only); signed legal documents (waivers, media releases, consent forms).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we or our service providers may automatically collect: IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system; pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs; cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 6.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your personal information for the following purposes: to process seminar registrations and payments; to communicate with you about your registration, including confirmations, reminders, and logistics; to ensure your safety during seminars (Health Data is used solely for safety and dietary accommodation purposes); to contact your emergency contact in case of an emergency; to create marketing and promotional materials (only with signed Media Release); to improve our seminars, website, and services; to comply with legal obligations; to send you marketing communications about future seminars (with your opt-in consent).

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share information with: Payment Processors: Stripe and/or Helcim, to process your payments (governed by their privacy policies); Website Platform: Wix, which hosts our website and may collect analytics data; Email Service Provider: Google Workspace, for business communications; Insurance Providers: in connection with claims or incidents; Legal and Regulatory: when required by law, regulation, or legal process; Venue Operators: limited contact information as may be required by the venue's policies; Emergency Services: Health Data and emergency contact information in the event of a medical emergency.

5. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights: Right to Know; Right to Delete; Right to Correct; Right to Opt-Out of Sale (we do not sell personal information, so this right is automatically satisfied); Right to Non-Discrimination. 6. COOKIES AND TRACKING

Our website uses cookies to analyze traffic, remember preferences, and improve user experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising.

7. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect Health Data (medical conditions, allergies, medications) which is classified as "sensitive personal information" under the CPRA. This data is collected and used solely for the purpose of ensuring participant safety during seminars. Health Data is accessible only to seminar instructors and designated safety staff; not used for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than safety; retained for 3 years after the seminar date; and securely destroyed after the retention period.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

We collect personal information about minors (ages 12–17) only with verifiable parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 12. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 12, please contact us immediately and we will delete it. For participants ages 13–16, we will not sell or share their personal information as required by the CPRA.

9. DATA SECURITY

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including password-protected access controls and encrypted storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for the following periods: registration and payment records: 7 years; signed waivers and legal documents: 7 years from the date of the seminar (or until the minor participant turns 25, whichever is later); Health Data: 3 years from the seminar date; marketing communications preferences: until you unsubscribe; media (photos/videos): indefinitely, unless you request removal.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised policy on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued participation in our seminars after such posting constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
